Lillian is a first year student to the Psychology and Law PhD program at John Jay. She received her bachelor’s in psychology and criminology at the University of Florida where she primarily researched how prosecutorial misconduct can lead to wrongful conviction. Her research interests are primarily concerned with wrongful convictions, including how our understanding of forensic and eyewitness evidence can affect the chances of a wrongful conviction, as well as how testimony about that evidence can affect legal outcomes. Broadly she is interested in how decision-making by criminal justice professionals, such as prosecutors and defense attorneys, can affect case outcomes.
